Good space heater heater

So this heater works well. It definitely radiates a pleasant warmth! The only problem I have with this device is that the instructions are very poor! The average homeowner can't hook it up, and it's even more expensive to have someone knowledgeable about electricity to hook it up. If this device had better instructions I would give it 5 stars.

A bit noisy on heaters

Normal product. I wired it completely myself and didn't have to pay an electrician. (I'm a woman with decent needlework skills.) I installed it in the kitchen. The heater appears to have three settings; It's good for the kitchen or bathroom, but I wouldn't recommend using it in the bedroom because of the blowing noise. This suggests it puts out decent heat even though I had a 120v model.

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • Unreliable

Buzzing sound and no details.

A little noisy. Other heaters we had only made a faint fan noise. It makes a tinny buzz. We left it running for several hours and it still smells chemically. Gives off good heat. In the kit there were no parts, screws or even wires to connect. to take it apart and add your own wire with a connector. Incomplete instructions for this operation. Husband G :).

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Can hurt

Failed in just 4 months!

I bought this device on the assumption that a higher price would correspond to a higher quality. Not correct! Overall cheap plastic construction and the same sort of "leaf" thermostat that fails in the $25 dairy farm heaters sold at the farm store. This is replaced by the Heat Storm model which I tried on another app which is vastly superior to this overpriced junk at the moment.

Pros
  • understandable even to the old
Cons

Great product in every way!

This product is one of several Stiebel Elton units we have installed in our home and it is superb in every way: easy to install, works great and its design matches ours Guest bathroom Duravit plumbing and Grohe faucet. This is an excellent company and I spoke to the President of the company a few years ago when ordering and installing a heat pump water heater and was very impressed with his knowledge and availability. Excellent company with excellent products.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Seems to work well but I am concerned about durability

heaters work well. The wiring and assembly is no more complex or complicated than the Dayton or King heaters we've used in the past. However, the body of the heater is plastic, which makes me wonder when we install it. I suppose if the shell is damaged we have to host the whole install instead of getting a replacement cap if it was Dayton or King. On the positive side, we didn't have a single OBF in the field with a defective heater core.

Loud and poor quality

I have just replaced my previous Stiebel Eltron wall unit which broke after a year of use with another Stiebel Eltron wall unit hoping this unit will be better. I only chose the same brand because the unit fit into the space in the wall for the heater. I'm already disappointed. The device does an excellent job of generating heat; However, the device is too loud. It looks like it blew out after a few weeks of use. It was a tolerable level of noise at first, but it got worse. The noise comes from

No instructions on how to hook up an extra thermostat

Anyone with 1/4 brainstem can install these heaters! It's as simple as it gets. It's not winter yet, but from what I can tell, as well as some other reviews, even on the coldest days in North Dakota, this thing should almost throw a person out of the room. I was a bit disappointed that they offered to buy a wall thermostat with this unit when they don't offer instructions on how to connect or bypass the units, built in or built in thermostats. 😠 It's by no means super-quiet as claimed, but…

  • Good thing

Do not buy this model.

This rating is for the wall heater model with top controls only. It arrived and turned out to be a return. I knew immediately that he would come back. It was cheap plastic and didn't seem safe as a heater. I sent it back and ordered a different model (from a different seller) with side controls. It is well made of metal. Works very well. The only downside, as others have mentioned, is the electrical conduit that goes inside. Please note that this device is not fixed to a wall. No problem, but…
