The paddles are thin. I was hoping they were the thick stuffed kind, but they are not. They are still OK though.Balls cracked rather quickly.

If you need cheap paddles these are perfect. The red and black covers on the paddles fall apart easily, they don't last long and neither do the handles. People have a tendency to bank the paddles on the table when playing no matter how many times you say "DONT DO THAT!". I've replaced these several times over and do not go for more expensive paddles because I believe the same thing will happen.

I am a novice so these paddles work perfectly for me and are not too heavy. My husband is a much better player and purchased two high end paddles. I found the high end paddles to be too heavy.

This is great! So far, it fits 4 different tables we've tried. We took it to a class party for 5th graders and they loved it! It is very fun and really does turn any table into a table tennis table.

I bought these for my brother and his 3 young boys. They are fine for the money. They take some abuse so no need to spend big money on paddles. Will wait to see how they hold up.

So far.okay. The table tennis paddle fits well in my hand and we had fun playing with the set although the 1-star ping pong balls are not very bouncy. While I appreciate having some free balls with the set, it's really annoying that they are not great quality. Do yourself a favor and buy the tournament quality 3-star balls along with these paddles.

it seems to me that half of the reviews that are posted here are from people that do not speak good English or are from another country , so that being said , this product is exactly what it says it is , it is a basic set that performs just like it says it does , it is perfect for beginners and family members and performs very well , so please do not DIS this product if you have not tried it , it works very well.

Very light and easy to use for a beginner and the performance is superb. Everyone comments that this paddle sounds weird when hitting the ball but who care we still beat the pants of them even with their comments. People are jealous so they tell us that our paddles are illegal. How can they be illegal with a name like Stiga. The name does say CLASSIC and that they are for sure as we are having much success with them. The price was right and I am not sorry for this purchase.

You get four paddles -- no frills. These are perfect for me and my kids. I guess if you want to put spin on the ball and do trick moves that you'll need different paddles, but for the table we just got, these work fine.

Bought this to go with a table we bought for fathers day, they are great quality much better than what came with the table!

My kids' school started offering ping pong so I bought these hard paddles, but turns out they are the wrong kind, not the kind the coach wants the kids to use. I guess I'll use these occasionally when I go visit a buddy who has a PP table at home. The paddles are pretty good quality, but the clamshell packaging was a super pain to open.

These paddles and balls are perfect for the weekend ping ponger. If you're a pro, you might not want to purchase these, but if you're like us and like playing with a glass of wine or 2, these are the perfect paddles. Great product, great price.

I purchased these as a gift for a family member. Shipping was quick, the quality of the product was good, solid paddles for the price. Sometimes when you order things like these you can be surprised sometimes by the lack of quality, but these did not disappoint!

These ping pong paddles are sturdy and the pads seem to be securely attached. The downsides I see are that some of the paddles have rough handles- as if they weren't sanded well enough in the factory (so we had to sand them ourselves), and the handles also seem about 1/2 inch to an inch shorter than others we have played with, which has given a few of us blisters where the end of the handle dug into our hands after playing for an hour. Of course these are not the professional paddles, but we put these out when the kids are having friends over. That way our good paddles won't get ruined. These work fine for the money.

These are like the Cadillac of. wait scratch that these are like the Ferrari of paddles. The speed and spin you can get with these bad boys will dazzle even a pro table tennis players. The grip fits in your hand like a perfectly ripe banana and I am not talking about one of those spotted smelly bananas. I am taking a banana that makes the color yellow look good . Overall I think you will be pleased with these paddles!
