Stinger SPT521 Gauge Reducer Input Review

As mentioned earlier, this adapter is too wide to fit any 4ga outlet and mine was no exception. I ended up having to use a metal file to shave the sides just enough for it to fit. Also, I had trouble finding heat shrink tubing with an inside diameter large enough to slip over the outside of the adapter. Again, as mentioned, this can lead to short circuit problems if you use an adapter on the power and ground terminals (since everything is metallic and conductive on the outside).

Excellent product. Arrived quickly and quite heavy for how small they are. Looks very good. However, I bought my JL Slash 1200/1 v3 to install. And JL Slash 300/4 v3. To my surprise, they didn't fit in my amp slots. You'll have to shave off most of the tip for them to fit. Even if I could manage that, they're pretty chunky, so they're going to be a very tight fit, and generally there's not enough protection for them, for what it is.
