Works, but locking partitions can be annoying.

I refused to buy sticks for a long time. I hate to admit that I'm getting old. But now that I have them, I kick myself for not doing it sooner. Getting down to business, my main complaint is the friction locks. I've used friction locks many times so it's not rocket science. But for some reason they seem fussy. There were times when I was sure I blocked them, only for them to collapse after a few steps. Adding to the disappointment is that they are locked so tightly I can't untie them. So I…

Overall good poles but not perfect

I took these poles on a couple of hikes in the mountains of southern Utah. Here are my impressions: The pens are good pens. This is a textured cork material. Lies well in the hands. The bar is strong, the locking mechanism is strong and supportive. Tips - various rubber tips are good. That's probably why I bought it. They were priceless

I started doing fitness hikes regularly last August. Since then I've ridden nearly 400 miles and relied on them for most of those miles. Some kind of trekking pole is needed, especially if you're a clumsy guy like me! I very rarely notice them.
