A small life jacket will be awesome, it won't affect my ability to row

I am a female, barely 5' tall, shirtless, about 120 pounds. The little life jacket is fantastic, it doesn't interfere with my paddling ability, doesn't go below my waist or bother me. I am very happy that I bought it. I highly recommend it for smaller women and I'm sure it will work for taller women too, it's just a plus for shorter women. It has the ability to adjust the length and tighten as needed. I highly recommend it, it works very well for me when I'm kayaking.

Pros
  • Life jackets and vests
Cons
  • A dubious purchase for the elderly

Finally my own PFD!

When the kids left, Hubs and I got Hobie pedal kayaks. So it's time to double down and buy a life jacket that fits me and stop wearing the ill-fitting, versatile life jackets made for men of the past. It's important to note that I'm a female, size 16-18, C cup, so PFDs from the past have always flattened girls and been uncomfortable to say the least. Excellent pdf but my back hurts when sailing

Bought to sail. Really comfortable, not too tight. Adjustable for a good fit. I'm 5'8' and 138 lbs. The C cup bra is comfortable for girls. The higher back is said to be helpful when kayaking. However, this PDF is advertised on several sailing websites. But if you plan on camping and tucking your torso under the safety lines, the back of this PDF is the perfect little shelf for your lifeline to get stuck under, making it difficult to get out quickly. Otherwise there are no complaints.

Boat life jacket size

I purchased this life jacket and am very happy with it. I wanted to write this review to help other people with sizing as the size chart was a bit confusing for me. My daughter has the exact same life jacket and wears X-Small/Small. She is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds (33 bust). I tried on my daughter's X-Small-Small size. I'm 5'8" and 170 pounds (41.5 chest) with all straps fully stretched. it is very close to the body. I ordered a medium/large size (5'8", 170 lbs, 41.5 bust). It

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for support and durability

  • Not as thick as others
