The item itself looks amazingly durable and I would love to use it. But I didn't know he was only 1 inch tall. I managed to stick it to my tile floors but all my doors have more than 1" of floor to door clearance so this product was too short!

I used the supplied adhesive tape to attach it to the wooden floor. I cleaned the spot first and let it sit for a few days before applying pressure to it. My doorstop isn't subject to excessive pivoting force, I just needed something simple to keep the gently pivoting doors from hitting the stuffing cabinet. Works like a champ.

First, a few screws stick out at the bottom. This will prevent the adhesive from laying flat on the underside and sealing completely. The remaining holes intended for screwing in are not closed by anything. So the glue is visible through the screw holes and it is tacky. My house isn't very dusty, but dirt sticks to it, which is fu. I'd love for someone to screw it up, but you can tell it's not really meant for any other purpose.
