Not suitable for gluing

First, a few screws stick out at the bottom. This will prevent the adhesive from laying flat on the underside and sealing completely. The remaining holes intended for screwing in are not closed by anything. So the glue is visible through the screw holes and it is tacky. My house isn't very dusty, but dirt sticks to it, which is fu. I'd love for someone to screw it up, but you can tell it's not really meant for any other purpose.
