Perfect, reliable: office furniture and lighting

Finally, our doorknob is no longer in danger of breaking the mirror we've hung in the closet. It was just what I needed as the original doorstop didn't fit. Every time we opened it it banged against it which was very annoying. Installation was a breeze - I used the existing hole for an old doorstop to drill a plate/screw and then just attached the rest.

Pros
  • Top marks for strength and durability from testers
Cons
  • Concise instructions

Does the job and is easy to install

Requires a slightly longer doorstop to allow the door to open almost 180 degrees without hitting a small shelf on the wall behind the open door. Comes with 2 installation methods: a center butterfly anchor or two screws with drywall anchors. I installed it directly into a wood strip with 2 screws but didn't use drywall anchors. The base of the doorstop is slightly larger than the baseboard so it protrudes a bit, but other than that it's perfect!

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • The list will be long.

You will definitely need drill bits

Looks good and works as intended so my door knob doesn't hit my wall mounted TV. The big caveat though is that you will almost certainly need an electric drill and some bits (either 1/4 or 3/8 depending on which installation method you choose from the few poorly written instructions. The one screw installation method is it didn't make absolutely no sense to me (why did you make me drive a screw in a hole smaller than the screw head?) and instead I used the two screw method to install these.

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Some issues
