Cute and comfortable

This is a high quality stovetop kettle. Too bad they made it smaller. I fill it about 1/3 full to make one of my ceramic teapots. It must be at least 1/2 full for the "whistle" to work. I do not care. Good attractive product.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons

difficult; large capacity

This kettle is heavier than most kettles but holds twice as much as our old one. Long term is putting it mildly. Heats large amounts of water quickly. The large top and rotating handle make cleaning the interior easier. I would recommend and buy again or give as a gift. No compensation for the reviewer.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Heavy, harder to pour but nice and well made

Beautiful teapot, made in China. It is very heavy, even when empty, and the design of the handle makes it difficult to pour. The handle folds down to make filling the kettle easier. Due to the heavy weight, especially when filled with water, the balance of the handle needs to be constructively improved to facilitate pouring.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Big capacity. Not great quality.

Large capacity. Much more than most other whistling kettles. The case is one-piece, the connection at the neck does not leak. The loop of the whistle cap and the cap itself are stamped and look poor quality but still remain usable after 4 uses. The whistle is quiet, but you may not be able to hear it unless you are nearby. The poor quality of the whistle cap reduces the rating by 1 star. Still worth the money. Hope that helps. Thank you for taking the time to read it.

Real Stainless Steel Kettle

We decided to purchase this kettle because the description said it had a 100% stainless steel base (which is true!). The size is taller, not wider, and it looks very nice. Although it is not a brand, I am happy with this purchase. Looks very sturdy and can last a long time. Thanks, Revain!chocolatejunkieia -- Sorry I can't reply to my email link due to problems with my computer. Here's my answer to your question about durability. We use this kettle for about a month until it rusted. Everything…

Sturdy and cool handle

This is the nicest kettle we've ever had and we've had several over the years (we drink tea daily) - from cheapest to cheapest to most expensive; this is the middle area. So far we are very happy with it. He is healthy and strong. I like that the bottom is a single sheet of stainless steel with no seams. The handle stays cold after the simmer - I don't need oven mitts or potholders to pour the water out. The whistling is not unpleasant, but starts softly and gradually gets louder; but never too
