HFP-512 Fuel Pump with Strainer for Yamaha Outboard EFI 150-250 HP (97-01) # 65L-13907-00-00, 66K-13907-00-00 Review

This fuel pump is a direct replacement for the Yamaha OX66 series outboard motors. I've used one for some time with no problems.

Does not work out of the box. It took me 3 hours to figure out it was the pump. Swapped pumps between the engines and it worked. Garbage! And they don't return their guarantee

This mercury injection pump used to be very expensive! It's not currently available from them, but there is a great aftermarket product like this at an exceptional price. Worked great!

Works exactly as it should. Yamaha OH66 2001, 225 hp 5 stars. Also fast delivery. The original pump costs 8 times as much and has no guarantee. The engine started on the first try as soon as the VST tank was filled.

So far so good, the product fits perfectly, let's see if it lasts. The downside is you go to the website where there are 2 kits, one of which has all the o-rings you need. The one I ordered didn't fit. Otherwise I would rate it 5 stars.

it was easy to install and performed as a Yamaha injection pump. I would buy it anytime for 1/6 the price of a Yamaha pump. It wasn't my problem because I later discovered it was one of my low pressure pumps that was causing me to run out of gas at top speeds. I didn't have to call but was impressed that they had a hotline if I had any questions.

This is a great product at a great price. I installed it on my 2002 saltwater Yamaha 200 series, pumped up the primer ball, turned on the ignition to prime the system for 15 seconds, then the engine started right away. Acceleration is fantastic. The only way to improve this would be a guide with a placement drawing to help with assembly. Lots of details and O-rings to remember. Pay attention to the layout if dissa
