Good value for money. The line grinds very well. Absolutely not suitable for "wet day shots". Here in the North West you have to work with the weather. The "Tajima Mark” chalk lines go and go; in any weather.

I'm glad I was able to fix the chalk box because I've had it for years and it works great just needs a new cord and hook. I just wish this product was a little cheaper, you can buy a new chalk box and string for almost the same price.

The line was a little thinner than my other lines but strong enough. Enough line to fill 2 units. Includes a small metal spike to hold the rope on the edge of the board in case you lose yours! I was mixed between four and five stars, I'll be back in a month and let you know.

So scattered. I have had the original string in my leader for almost 5 years and it has never worn out. This replacement string wore out within a week. I thought it was a coincidence so I cleaned up the messy strands and put them back together only to have them fall apart again after a few days. And again a few days later. And again. Eventually it became unusable. I need to find a better replacement for the string. Don't waste your money on this product. Buy the one that is more expensive…
