Really great product. The marking studs on both sides are precise and leave an unobtrusive indentation in the wall. Not difficult to use and worth the $8 I paid would have paid a lot more. I'm good at math, but this is still much faster and more accurate.

With this product you can easily decide how to hang photos and the like at regular intervals. However, it's not as good at measuring the size of a room. I had a hard time using it (mainly because you have to pick it up in the corner and place it on another wall (so it won't be exact; you'll need to add as many inches as you have left to continue both sides )). Considering I bought it for both, I'm a bit disappointed.

This is not a precise instrument. Only use it for rough estimates. It's good for what all the other 9 reviewers used it for, but it could be off by half an inch. Everything seems fine with my device, except that I'm getting mixed readings. If the measurements were at least consistent it wouldn't matter what the numbers were but I measured the same wall 6 times and got 6 different results.
