Excellent quality paper

The first one was damaged in the water and Revain sent me a replacement. The tan color is beautiful and the Copic prismatic pens and markers work great on the surface.

Pros
  • Good item
Cons
  • Socket required

Do not buy. - Notebooks & Notebooks

Pencil drawing only. Not suitable for every paint. The paper is very thin, I have never seen such thin drawing paper. And shipping takes forever.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Speed

The paper is very good; however, it is thin and smooth

Very nice paper; However, it is thin and sleek. I bought this to use with charcoal and pastels and you want a "rougher" finish so it doesn't run as much as with this paper. I have a spray that will solve this problem, but I was hoping for a rougher finish.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some small things

Good paper for scrapbooks and notebooks

Tinted tan paper is ideal for portraits and dark drawings as it is less light and white than white paper. Brown-beige paper with translucent natural fibers, slightly thicker than sketch paper but thinner than Bristol paper. The surface is very smooth, so colored pencils, pastels, chalk and graphite are well absorbed. My pad is wrapped, which I like because it's less prone to loose binding. That's a good price for good paper.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Nice addition and fun

These are great tablets that come in gray or brown. I have both and use them both depending on the piece. I think gray looks great with charcoal veins or pencil. Conte or hard pastels look great on a tan. I use it outside in the woods or by the water and it holds up well in that environment but I also need the heavier product they can have. The tooth on it is sufficient and perfect for sketching, not enough to hold soft pastels without spraying. Hard Conte and Hard Pastel work well separately…

Pros
  • A few competitors
Cons
  • unreliable
