Cheaper than brick!

I found this paper cheaper at Revain than where I used to buy it in regular stores. Same quality - just cheaper and delivered straight to my door without leaving home to buy it! Got to love the Revain for the convenience at a lower price.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Disappear

Too absorbent and balls up

I'm not exactly a beginner artist, rather an average one. Recently I've started selling my work. I usually paint with acrylic paints on canvas. Anyway, I found this paper too absorbent. Maybe you need to apply a few coats of plaster first? I also tried using acrylic pencils on it and it was a disaster. The paper wrinkled badly. I may try watercolors again, but I definitely won't be buying back to work with acrylics.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Love this for pouring acrylic paint!

I love pouring acrylic paint. Much satisfaction and less cost than canvas. Has the added benefit of more precise flow direction and therefore shaping. Be sure to dry on a wire rack for even airflow. I pour the paper onto a (packaging) styrene/styrofoam tray after treating the ink and then transfer it to the great saxophone stand sold here. I like how the edges of the bead sit on the paper which makes the image look a bit raised. Once dry, I store them in the plastic and archival cardboard sets…

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
