I use them to wash ink, fountain pen drawings and colored pencils. So far I've experienced less warping than the Bristol board I've used before. Definitely worth a try!

The smooth parchment surface allows for detailed shading with the 2H pen and allows you to draw thick lines with the 2B pen, adding depth to your artwork. Paper color is warm white. Acrylic paint is easy to apply and dries very quickly.

This is really great for most things, it will curl up a little if it gets too wet and the top layer will come off if brushed too hard. I use it for airbrush, pen ink, marker, watercolor, mixed media! And some chalk pastels just in case!

I was hoping that the Strathmore 400 Series Mixed Media Notebook would be good for watercolor practice but it doesn't have as much flow of color and water as I want. hoped. The Strathmore 400 series watercolor paper is slightly more expensive, but worth the money. I will be using mixed media tablets for drawing and other projects. It was a good price overall.
