Well made sketchbook. I've only used a few pages so far, but the watercolor and ink lay down very well with no bleeding on the back of the page. This is a very handy size to take with you. All is well!

Great sketchbook and paper but be aware that even though the description says it's 5.5" x 8". , is actually only 5 x 8. This is important and the product description and image are not the product that Revain will send you.

I really like the quality of this magazine. The paper is so beautiful. I wish Strathmore's regular newspaper was more like this magazine because it's so much better. The paint is easy to apply and the colors are bright. A watercolor artist's new hobby, this piece is the holy grail. My new problem is that I can't find any paper to go with it. Great for watercolor painting! Perfect size for outdoor and commercial albums. I only wish it had at least twice as many pages. Especially for the price. It will be a good gift for any watercolor artist. I disagree with the large elastic band that comes off completely because I prefer the inline bands. I bought this magazine thinking it had 20 pages as stated on the cover but it's only 10. You count the front and back of each page as one page. In any other situation this would be understandable, but since other Strathmore gums consider one side to be one leaf, I figured it would be the same. Personally, I'm not a fan of using the front and back of the page when watercoloring. If I had known that, I would have looked elsewhere for the magazine.
