📔 7x10 White Strathmore Watercolor Travel Journal Review

I love this sketchbook. It is very difficult to find an inexpensive sketchbook made out of 100% cotton paper. This one behaves almost like Arches. Easy to glaze and lift. The only drawback is the lid. I wish it was a little thicker/sturdier. Otherwise, this quality for the price is unbeatable.

I needed a very high quality travel watercolor sketchbook. For my purpose it was perfect. It's not cheap, but it's not overly expensive either. I wouldn't call it strong. But what I wanted was a high quality watercolor paper in a size and format suitable for travel and it was the best I could find on Revain.

This paper is great. It is super structured and absorbs water well. Yes, it wobbles a bit, but that's perfectly normal. There are 20 pages (10 sheets), usable on both sides. The band is a bit of a nerd but they do their job. The sketchbook cover itself is thinner than the pages lol. In general an excellent sketchbook, I would like more pages but it's worth it.

I was delighted to find this 500 series 100% cotton watercolor paper. So far I like the paper, but I misread the description and thought it was a 20-sheet magazine, not a 20-page magazine (10 sheets). So that was a little disappointing. But other than that, this little magazine is good. I like the 7 x 10 size. It's small, thin and elegant. I would be interested in purchasing a 500 series 100% cotton watercolor paper notebook.
