Ideal for art magazines

I love Strathmore paper. Mixed media paper ideal for watercolor, gouache, collage, maker, ink. I love that even Strathmore hardcover books can be opened without the pages falling out! Amazing quality!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Blank

I leave my acrylic paintings in this book. Love it.

I can only sit in my motorized chair and I can't raise my arms to draw. I use this book to draw page by page. Keep my pictures together. It's not the canvas and stained glass windows I've done before, but it's quality paper and my acrylic paper holds my paint perfectly.

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to it
Cons
  • It makes me nervous

Great for more than just sketchbooks

My wife and I bought this sketchbook to make a wedding guest book. Perfect. People used many different types of pens and paints, and the ink didn't smear or bleed. We used photo corners to create pockets so people can put instax photos on their page and they will stick well on the paper and stay in place. .Bad: Since we had instax photos on each page, we can no longer close the sketchbook. This is due to the binding style, which doesn't leave much room to expand or change the thickness of the…

Pros
  • Nice item
Cons
  • Long delivery time

I swear I'm going crazy - the sketchbook was changed in a year.

I really liked this sketchbook. It is perfect for watercolouring, as the 100% cotton absorbs water very well, yet has a supple texture and is still good value. However, the last sketchbook I ordered was altered. While it's still 100% cotton, it now rolls up so easily. It hasn't happened before and I have my old sketchbook to prove it. I used the exact same technique on an old sketchbook but with no pilling. If you change your product, please let me know. I've spent hours on it and now it's…

Not perfect, but strong enough

I'm always hesitant to buy watercolor paper or equivalent online because I can't touch or feel the paper itself and this has ended up in the bin in the past. However, it's not bad at all, especially considering the price and size and the fact that it's 100% cotton paper. Upon opening comes a smell that I can't describe, that takes a second to get used to, but you won't notice it after a few minutes. This is definitely HOT PRESS paper. If you're looking for a cold-press sketchbook, this isn't…

Pros
  • Archival quality and lignin-free paper.
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

My Favorite Magazine

I work mostly with watercolors and sketch a lot in the field - this is my favorite sketchbook. It's smooth and won't tear my Micron pens, allowing me to comfortably write to my heart's content. It has withstood multiple watercolor washes and still doesn't bleed or bleed on me. Although it's so thin that it's light enough to carry around in a field bag and has many sides for me to be free. to play around with without feeling as "valuable" as the typical 10-20 page watercolor journals. It's also…

  • 100% Cotton Acid Free
