Always have been a fan of Strathmore paper - great range of colors and perfect paper compression - only got this lining as a gift, I do NOT normally buy perfect bound artbooks - I've had the notepad for 5 minutes used to do a quick sketch - I went to get it the next day and it was already peeled off and the papers were peeling off. It's ok as I can use the portfolio to put paper in it. If you are really looking for a notebook/drawing book, I ALWAYS recommend using a spiral or thread bound book.
