Better than the original lid

I really like this lid, the only thing that bothers me is that it doesn't close, there is a bulge that should stick up when you fold it, but mine is defective and I would never have closed it sent it back but frankly it's so uncomfortable that I didn't want to send it back. It is sealed and works much better than the original cap. It would be nice if it had a lock to prevent accidental opening (happened to me once).

Defective Product.: Sport Water Bottles

I didn't mean to complain. This replacement water bottle stopper is defective. I have about a dozen wide mouth bottles, all caps are interchangeable. This replacement has a thread that makes it impossible to screw onto a wide-mouth water bottle. Too many problems with returns for $6.99 plus shipping and tax; I just threw it away. Great replacement, 1 has issues

The snap cap works great and fits well on my Hydrapic and Fifty/Fifty bottles. The only issue I had is that there is no locking mechanism so it can be accidentally knocked and opened. The screw/twist cap is more problematic. Top clasp has no stop. If you keep turning, it will open again. Therefore, you must be very careful not to flip/twist the screw/swivel cover to close it.
