This mike check checks all the boxes!

I wanted to make a video but there was no microphone. I wanted it to look good and work well, but I didn't want to rob a bank. This microphone fits the bill. Above all, he looks cool! I have a pretty slim design. It works pretty well too. I haven't had time to fully test the performance of this device, but the microphone tests I ran showed good sound quality. This is for Zoom/Teams

I have tried 3 other mics before. They had poor sound quality and/or required your mouth to be close to the microphone. For some reason the design of this mic allows me to be 2 feet away and still maintain good sound quality. In fact, the sound quality degrades when I get too close. Chinese metal stand, but heavy. I hate that this product is from China, but until we get our production back to the US we have to take care of it.

This is great for what it is. The sound quality is surprisingly good for the price. On my MacBook Pro 2020 everything was really plug and play. The windshield leaves a lot to be desired; Because it's attached to a stand that adjusts up and down about 4 inches, it doesn't move with the mic. The gooseneck is a bit flimsy and will move down under gravity over the course of a day or so. I struggled with an important decision point; Table top versus articulated cantilever. Works but too sensitive

Even with the filter, the microphone picks up too much background noise. Both the pop filter and the foam filter weren't enough to drown out noise. This is supposed to be a cardioid mic, meaning it should pick up sound from one direction more than the other. This seems to pick up sounds from all directions. You absolutely must use a shock absorber and even that is not enough to eliminate noise when typing on a keyboard on the same desk. However, the weight of the stand is very pleasant, which…

Personally I only have one complaint so far. I want the base of my particular mic to be screwed all the way down. I had to tighten the threads to get the main part of the stand into the base. and even then I could only get a few threads. Also, I'm very happy with this microphone. It's USB so the sound isn't as good as XLR mics, but for literally half or a quarter the price and with no additional mixer to get that sound quality I have no problem with how good it sounds.
