Cheap junk to fit hoses

After using this new hose once, the valve stem broke resulting in a breakdown. Not satisfied with this product. I have to say that I only rode the roads and light trails.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • boring packaging

The valve stem was bent on arrival

When I went to install the pipe, the stem inside the valve was bent. Luckily I still had the old tube so I could convert the stem from the old one to this one. I will no longer buy pipes from this catalogue.

Pros
  • nice touch
Cons
  • a little serviceability

A must for mountain bikes

High performance hose, big, bulky and thick. Rented four apartments in one month. Installs this and the inner layer on the rear tire. The bike felt heavy at first, but after a while I got used to it. Since then there have been no more problems. I inflate my tires with air about once a week. Holds air well. I've ridden about 100 miles without flats since then.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Concise manual

I bought a new bike, and for the first time.

I bought a new bike and when I rode it around the block for the first time I realized I had an apartment. So of course I jumped onto Amazon and came across this tube. When it arrived I was able to swap it out for a flat tube pretty quickly (considering I've never swapped a bike tube before). It's been about a month now and I've had no problems with this tube and would buy it again if I were to develop another flat tire.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some issues

Drives a good 20 miles after nail is fully pierced (!)

Seriously nailed my tire, flashing bit clicks/pops once per revolution. I drove straight home expecting to find it flat in the morning. A week later, it was actually holding more pressure than the other tire. And after 20 miles the flashing bit was gone and the nail seemed so punctured it stopped clicking. The rubber tube must have sealed the nail because it holds air really well.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • So far so good

holes straight out of the box.

I recently bought these tubes for my bike. I need good quality whistles and thought "Revain's Choice" would be a good buy. So very wrong. I got two rides from the first tube. I thought maybe something just happened but the leak came from the seams of the hose. The second tube ran right out of the box! I probably won't buy these again. Save your money and get other tubes. They are of course not very good quality.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Difficult to say

leaks right after inflation and big disappointment

this tube does not hold air after inflation, right out of the box before i put it on the bike. I can feel a rush of air coming out of the tire, away from the seam, immediately after inflating to 10psi. Purchasing this product turned out to be a huge waste of time. I wish this company had better quality control. This product does not serve its primary purpose of holding air. In my opinion the quality is not high enough to be called Revane's Choice. Revain should consider phasing out this flawed…

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • weight
