3 months buying shoes in July instead of school. upset.

I give them a 3 because it's almost impossible to find really roomy and comfortable shoes for kids, let alone washable leather. Here's the minus. The Stride Rite has always been a dependable, well-made shoe that my kids grew out of rather than out of, but that's not the case with these shoes. Our 7 year old wore them for 3 months mainly on school days and then played with shoes or sandals during the day or weekends but one shoe had the entire front of the material separating from the toe. Can't wear sneakers

These shoes looked great online. They are well built but I couldn't put them on my 2 year old. He's still a size 6 and I've bought a size 6.5 for the next few days. The shoes had a Velcro closure and elastic laces (non-removable) on the upper. The clasp goes into the slot at the other end and has a thicker end so it doesn't come out of the slot. This limits how wide you can open it. The elastic laces are very tight and not easy to adjust. This allows you to open the shoes for easy dressing. My…

They're pretty good but not perfect

Ordered a half size up on recommendation from Stride Rite and we've had no problems getting the size or being able to wear these shoes. I bought them from Revain and not directly from the manufacturer because they were about 15€ cheaper here. This happened after about a week of wearing. I expect the best quality from this brand. I also don't like that they are sold as "mud" boots, but my son's feet get wet walking on wet/soft ground. If they had been made from "first class leather" as stated in
