Daughter has worn this brand/style for many years. They look good for about a month and then the fingers wear out and turn white instead of pink. I would say I plan to buy another pair in 2 months. Or buy 2 pairs at a time.

Cute little shoes but be aware these are summer shoes. When the grass is wet, feet get wet easily. Otherwise great lights. Outsole wears out a little faster

They had "M" for medium and "W" for width for different shoes. We bought the widths from Target and compared them to the widths on ebay and the ones on ebay are much narrower. Update 2: Stride Rite emailed me immediately and issued a full credit for a replacement shoe. Bought these for my 5 year old son as he also needed a backlight after we accidentally ordered a smaller size for his little sister. My kids have been wearing Stride Rite shoes for years, and when my daughter insisted on a bright pink pair, they were the highest quality sneakers I could find. I love these shoes for our little one! He has wide feet and these are by far his favorite shoes. He wears them every day, for hours outside, with no complaints. Excellent quality even after wearing outdoors for a long time.

The Stride Rite has been the best shoe my kids have had in a long time. They all have narrower feet and love the comfort of this basic shoe. My 7 year old refuses to wear anything else. My 5 year old loves these shoes they have held up very well over the past few months. She loves light and colors, and navy blue keeps them from looking messy.

We love that you can wash these shoes and they wash well. Unfortunately, they are not as durable as hoped. The mesh on the toes started to tear after a few months. I can't judge them too harshly because my son is very picky about shoes and clothes in general.
