Makes using fresh herbs easier!

I like to use fresh herbs, but sometimes I don't use them because it takes time to remove the leaves from the stems. This gadget was wonderful to use! tried different herbs and it worked every time!

Leaf scraper, stainless steel and BPA-free plastic

I love using fresh herbs. I use this to shuck kale as well as fresh parsley, basil, rosemary, etc. It's a life saver. After cleaning and trimming, I dry and freeze the leftovers. I just have to add them to my recipe. Such a time saver!

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Weight

Used once, discarded for cutlery and knife utensils

Dried thyme leaves are easy to peel off with your hands, but freshly picked is another matter. It looked like a great idea. However, the fragile bars just broke when you pulled them out, making them no more comfortable than fingers. This may be normal with some other herbs, but other herbs are easy to prepare with your fingers.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • It's OK

Yes, it *works* with cilantro!

I cook with cilantro all the time and pinch the leaves for hours. I figured I had a 50-50% chance of using this remedy since half the reviews for cilantro are positive and the other half are negative. I love this tool! After washing, simply dry the cilantro and make sure to use the sharp side for the cut - this works great. I'm surprised.

what did we do before

This is great for peeling a lot of cilantro, but not just a few stalks. You can double or triple the stems and stretch them out. Most of the time is spent deciding which hole to put them through, but how much time has it saved. So far we haven't used it for anything other than cilantro. We also like that it's made of stainless steel and washes up easily. When I get a chance I'll post a video showing how this gadget saves us time.

  • Easy to use

Metal holes are important!

This stripper is a simple and handy tool that makes picking leafy herbs much easier. Holes are punched in the metal, creating a sharper, blade-like edge that allows the edge to slide easily off the sheets. The "blades" aren't sharp enough to look like a knife, and my toddlers easily ripped off some thyme and oregano in their willingness to help. quite large - it would be nice to make a hole between the larger sprigs of rosemary. Some of my thicker branches are too big for the largest of the…

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Useless functions

I use it on my weekly volunteer work in the kitchen, where I pluck a pound of thyme or rosemary from sprigs in an hour. By hand it takes three hours and is a lot messier. Showed it to a professional chef and he was amazed that such a device existed and I became the envy of the kitchen. At $8 this is the best deal.

  • Quick Change

That works great! Best Cutlery & Knife Accessories

I never thought I would need this tool in my life! This is a great way to remove leaves from herbs. It used to take me forever, but now it's done in a minute! I am very satisfied with this kitchen helper. Of course there is a rough side on the back where each hole was punched. I make sure the smoother side is the side I'm going to place the stems on just to make sure they don't get cut from the rough side. Overall I really like this product, it makes grinding fresh herbs faster and easier!
