🐴 Cord & Chain Saddle by STROMBER Review

This chain and cord saddle is what I was looking for, the only problem I have is that it's plastic. I don't know how long it will take.

This plastic item will not hold together or around the Howard County countershaft without properly drilled nuts and bolts. Stupid cheap screws came out very quickly.

The instructions for fitting this item around the trailer jack post make no mention of the two halves failing to come together when the bolts are tightened. When I installed the part and tightened the screws, one of the mounting tabs broke off. I replaced the part with a similar part from another manufacturer whose instructions indicated the two halves would not fit. Very flimsy construction, screws have nothing to screw in which has a lot of power, attached with no spacers and not tight enough to not slip down when the chains are hanging from them. Can't lift the lid high enough to put the 7 round connector in. A design change should be considered and if that happens could you make sure the hinged part of the lid doesn't hit the jack tube?
