It's Gorilla Glue- It's Always Awesome!

Super tough hold for some of my tougher projects when I want seriously permanent holds. Burns good and hot in a pro gun so watch your fingers! My favorite brand of adhesives.

Pros
  • I need a hot glue that will keep working after it cools. Gorilla seems to stay put.
Cons
  • Can be a hazard for pets if ingested.

You can't go wrong with gorilla.

When I discovered gorilla glue sticks, I knew I had to have them. I use hot glue a LOT for projects and have been using the regular ones and sometimes they aren't as secure so I wanted something a little more powerful. It came quick and packaged well. There's also plenty and I foresee it'll last me 3 months.

Pros
  • These are great glue sticks. They seem to hold better than other non name brand
Cons
  • Can be messy when applying.

best glue sticks out there

The glue sticks are one of the best, they hold up to anything. I made a fairy garden out of clay pots and rocks they held the rocks on the clay pots had been out side in the rain and snow for a year already and stuff has not fallen apart. Right now I'm working on a topiary ball tree. So far so good

Pros
  • What’s there to say. They are gorilla glue sticks.
Cons
  • May not hold up well under extreme temperatures.

Will not bond larger items

Thought "Gorilla Glue” meant that it would bond like liquid "Gorilla Glue or Super Glue - But used this twice on bottom of favorite walking sandals where bottom half was detached & flapping, but did not hold so used regular Super Glue, which held - This might be good to glue smaller items

Pros
  • The best glue sticks I've ever used. My tried and true....
Cons
  • Can melt or deform if stored in high temperatures.

great product good for me

Redid cat tree tower with new carpet and scratching rope. These gorilla glue sticks have great holding power. Would certainly purchase them again.

Pros
  • fast shipping and works well
Cons
  • The sticks have good adhesion but the sticks seem to melt to quickly and pour out of your the glue gun.

Bigger Bag or More sticks

I wish they came in a bigger number or bigger bag, But like the sticks. I had to order two bags for the number of sticks. The sticks are good glue. I just wanted to have glue sticks that are longer, so that I won't have to keep starting or stopping to get a glue stick to finish my project. So I will keep looking for the mini glue sticks that are long also. But I would buy it again if I don't find what I am looking for.

Pros
  • You can never go wrong with this glue! I love it!!! Worth every cent. Even cheaper than Walmart!!!
Cons
  • Excessive use may cause gun to clog.

Works fine so far. good for me

I'm using this in silicone molds instead of clay for miniature embellishments on items I sell online. Works fine so far, but it hasn't been tested in extreme heat, such as a mailman's truck on a 90+ degree day.

Pros
  • I used this for a DIY planter and it worked great. Has been holding up strong for 6 months already.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to reuse if need to be removed.

The best glue good for me

If you work crafting as much as I do or if you are just a beginner this is the glue for your glue gun very good results and durability.

Pros
  • I make hair bows for my daughter. This glue works better than any other I have used.
Cons
  • Can melt certain types of plastic.

These work great best in my review

These glue sticks are some of the strongest I’ve ever used, I also love that they are really long so you get a good amount of use before needing to insert a new stick. I’m only going to buy this brand for my glue sticks from now on, I love pretty much every gorilla glue product I’ve used.

Pros
  • No better value than these.
Cons
  • Can be challenging to clean off surfaces.

this product is of good quality.

I liked it because it really safe, it works and it can be used to glue light as well as heavy pieces, it was very useful. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • It gets the job done
Cons
  • Stickiness can attract dirt and debris.

These ARE better for my opinion

I was using regular, generic glue sticks for a project and then switched to this. I could tell the difference when I messed up and had to remove pieces. The areas glued with the Gorilla hot glue sticks were MUCH harder to remove. I didn't think there would be a difference, but there is.

Pros
  • Great value
Cons
  • May not bond well with certain materials.

handy and cheap glue

It's the second time I bought this glue. goody for some small repairs and DIY art. One star off is for its bad performance in hot weather. I made a small pot using this glue and left it in my backyard. But it melted a few days later. If you want to use it to do some outdoor work, this one is not your choice

Pros
  • I use the gorilla glue sticks when making my faux leather bows and it has held up well with no issues!!
Cons
  • Not suitable for permanent fixes.

no drip in Gorilla mini glue gun

These sticks work great in the Gorilla mini dual temp hot glue gun. High or low temp they do not drip between applications. If tip of gun is pressed to material after use, provide little or no stringing, which is rare with other sticks i've used.

Pros
  • I reroped a cat scratching post. It has held beautifully with 2 cats scratching daily.
Cons
  • Not suitable for intricate projects.

Gorilla Glue Hot Glue Sticks Mini Glue Sticks

Gorilla Glue always holds up! I have not used these particular sticks yet. I purchased the wrong ones. I needed the full size sticks & bought the mini by mistake. The full size sticks work great. I usually purchase AdTech glue sticks but I bought a new heavy duty 60w glue gun & Ad Tech glue sticks seemed to be just going through them like water. I decided to try the Gorilla Glue ones to try and not use so many. Time will tell. They are strong and adhesion is great. More expensive than AdTech…

Pros
  • Works
Cons
  • Can create visible burn marks on some surfaces.

It’s convenient but is it efficient?

To preface, I am a teacher, so I use a TON of hot glue. I put new things up on my wall anytime my student do something good. It’s called the wall of fame. I was in need of a quick and semi cheap hot glue gun because as I stated… teacher (inexpensive is the only option). The hot glue gun that pairs with these glue sticks would arrive in a day and came with hot glue sticks. GREAT! Answer to my problem. And at first it was worth the money. A cheap solution for a semi cheap problem. In hindsight I…

Pros
  • I do crafts and have the best luck using this product have tried other types, gorilla is far the best.
Cons
  • May not be appropriate for children to use.
