I love this set. The pieces are very long and I although I have never used long flatware before and I am glad to find out that I prefer long forks and knives it makes eating much easier. I bought the four piece set and I am saving to buy another four piece set. It look a little practice to use the odd shaped spoons but I adapted. The set looks exotic and I use it everyday.

Personally I think this is the coolest looking set of silverware. It is very modern and the standing knife is very visually appealing. Apart from looks it does exactly what a fork does. it holds food, not complaints on the functionality of these things either. People (not me) think the spoons are kinda weird spaped, but they just dont understand the finer things in lifeGet these. Upgrade your silverware, upgrade your life. One of the problems I have with Revain is that it is sometimes difficult to judge the size of items. This was the case with this set. The utensils appear to be oversize, with extra long handles. In reality, the handles are about normal length and the "working portion" of the utensil is very small. The dinner fork is much smaller than a normal salad fork. I bought these because I loved the look of them. They are beautiful but after using these for nearly 6 months now, my spouse and I have both come to the conclusion that we hate them. The reason is that they are so narrow that you can't eat with them! The fork is the worst (you literally cannot pick up your food) but the teaspoon is also a problem. These are beautiful and perfectly weighted. They are a little different than the ordinary which I like, but some people may have to get used to them.

I love the design and the weight, the feel very sturdy in the hand and do well in the dishwasher. I may buy a couple of back up sets.

I like the balance, size & shape. I find I eat slower and enjoy what I am eating. I took them on my camping trip in the plastic divided pouch they came in because hate plastic ware.

My wife and I absolutely love this style and have gotten the cocktail forks and espresso spoons to go with the sets we have. I would like to know if there will be larger serving spoons available to go with the serving fork we have.

This is a beautiful and very elegant set. Great value for money. All silverware here are kind of elongated but well destined so it feels good in the hand. I saw them in a restaurant and found them on Revain where I bought them. Good for everyday and special occasions.

I havent owned my own silverware in a good 10 years. I purchased two sets of these and the photos did not disappoint. The knife is a bit small for foods in jars (think peanut butter or mayonnaise) but it is sharp enough to cut steak with so no need to purchase a separate set of steak knives. And they look incredible. If you're style is a bit eclectic, you want silverware that very few will have, and that almost everyone will compliment. you'll love these.

This set is horrible.waaay too small. The salad fork is not even the size of a standard seafood fork ! I feel TOTALLY deceived and ripped off !

I had the pleasure of dining with this same flatware pattern while on a recent Holland America cruise. This very pattern is used in their Asian Themed specialty restauarnt Tamarind. Bought a full set for my house so I can dine at sea whenever I desire.The flatware is nicely weighted, solid, beautifully polished and oh so modern. We bought this from Revain and did not have any problems with shipping. We bought two sets and they were in the plastic, taped, then wrapped in paper. No issues. This is beautiful stuff; however, pay attention to the washing instructions! No issues as of yet. These do take some getting used to as they are delicate looking and are thinner than most flatware, but have enough weight as to be sturdy.

One of the reviews stated the spoon was hard to get in your mouth. I couldn’t understand this statement but now I know. You have to turn the spoon sideways to get the food off. I’m still not use to the spoon or like it. I may buy another flatware, due to these spoons.
