. If you want an engine light on your dash then this is for you. I replaced my original cap with this one because the leash on my original cap broke. This cap immediately caused the check engine light, traction control light and cruise control light to come on and this is the fuel cap error signal. I gave it some time to see if it would work myself but no luck. It sucks.

I have a 2013 Subaru Forester and after reading the reviews I ordered this part because the previous gas cap I bought from another store didn't work, my engine burned out , cruise control and traction light did not go out.
