What exactly I needed

I had to replace the battery in my Subie. When removing the original support bar, the screws came loose with rust. It was a great replacement, cheap and easy to install!

Pros
  • is clear even to the old
Cons
  • . Hard to say

Fits snugly on 2007 Outback

Includes everything you need to replace a rusty/corroded battery tray. This design is a bit wobbly and requires four hands to swap out, but this kit competes with the Original Equipment battery retaining parts. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Good, but not great

Doesn't fit: Replacement parts

For some reason Revane said they would fit a 2002 Subaru Forester. Yes, but the short "J" hook is useless. Suitable for a long hook. I'm not sure I can do this without returning or buying a new kit. Thanks for the false information Revain!

Pros
  • I keep my fists
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Fits and works great (2008 Impreza Wrx Sti)

I have a 2008 Subaru Impreza Wrx Sti and the original battery strap was lost but was all rusted out so I couldn't undo and reinstall the nuts. This spares kit fits perfectly (has all the parts I need) and works as it should.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • I will add later

OEM quality, cheap and nothing else to buy.

For some strange reason the previous owner managed to get the retaining clip loose and when I bought my used 2005 Subaru Legacy Limited Station Wagon the battery was held in place with a rubber band. This is a complete set of parts needed to secure the battery to an undamaged battery tray and side panel. There is nothing left to buy. Obviously this is an OEM package and fits perfectly. Apart from being shiny and new, it doesn't look like it was bought when the car was 12 years old. Do you…

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • Exterior

OEM battery mounts easy to install

I bought my 2005 Outback (2.5i Automatic) used so no mount was included although I didn't realize it for about three years. I'm glad I got one because it's pretty easy to install and fits perfectly. For assembly: nuts 10 mm. The short leg extends through the flat part of the bracket and past the "back" of the battery, i.e. the side closest to the windshield; it clings to a small hole in the back of the car. The long leg goes through the sloped part of the bracket and "in front" of the battery…

Pros
  • Industry best
Cons
  • protection
