Much better design than the competition spinning mat.

I have another spinning mat from another company and it doesn't spin easily and sometimes falls apart. This spinning mat is fantastic. It turns very easily and does not crumble.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

The cutting mat is not removable.

The pink mat needs to be attached with Velcro so it can be removed and used for ironing. The description should state that the mat is permanently attached. I wanted pink for the sewing room as my walls are very light grey, white and pink where to place them.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Functionality

The best cutting board ever!

I like that this board has ball bearings. If you turn it smoothly, you can easily cut the fabric. I also have two 10" cutting mats. I use one for cutting English paper pieces and the other sits on the table next to the chair with sewing supplies on it. I give ten stars out of five.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

My Favorite Quilting Tool

This rotary cutting mat has quickly become one of my most used quilting tools. Ideal for delicate cutting or squaring half square triangles. At first I was concerned that it was too difficult to turn. Using it I found that the rotation is spot on with the control needed when you are also controlling the slicer. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Useful for more than its intended purpose
Cons
  • Garden Tools

Great tool, a little late

When you start a new hobby, you have to get a lot of things. but what if you don't stick to it? I started quilting in 2013. Seven years later I invested in this rather expensive rotary cutting mat. At least it seemed expensive, but it's actually a value. Cutting is much easier and more accurate. DO IT! One thing. It can have a LOCK function. Sometimes it needs to be stable to make a cut.

Cons
  • Not bad, but...

I'm not entirely sure about this product.

I just received this product yesterday. I really want to like it, but I've found a few problems with it. The top does not rotate smoothly. Upon closer inspection I noticed there was rust on the balls so I cleaned them with WD40. Now he spins a little better. I was thinking of returning it but like the size, will try to use it a few times to see if the spin improves as I use it and keep cleaning the rust balls.

Cons
  • disappears

only lasted 5 months

love this cutting mat. Excellent and smooth rotation and perfect size. But it only lasted 5 months. I bought in February and need a replacement in August. I use it daily for quilting and maybe I'm expecting too much, but for the price I really wish it could last a little longer. The mat is peeling off my blade and cloth and looks like scales. Cheaper carpets last a little longer, but of course they are not as smooth. Would like to know what the other daily quilt schedule is. This time I will…

Cons
  • cord is shorter than others
