Sharpens Like a Pro!

This sharpening tool is a game-changer for any industrial or scientific setting. It quickly sharpens any tool with ease, leaving a razor-sharp edge that lasts. THE aluminum mounting makes it easy to use and transport. Although it's a bit pricey the quality and effectiveness make it worth the investment..

Pros
  • Offers a stable and secure base for sharpening knives and tools.
Cons
  • Requires additional investment for a sharpening stone to be attached to the mounting.

Excellent Sharpening Tool Mount

This silicone sharpening tool mount is incredibly efficient and reliable for any industrial and scientific use .The mount's non-slip surface keeps the sharpening tool in place, making it easy to use. The aluminum construction also keeps it STABLE and strong. Its very affordable, an attractive feature for anyone looking to maintain their tools properly. The only issue is that the mount is not adjustable, which could cause problems when working with larger tools..

Pros
  • Affordable, non-slip surface, stable construction
Cons
  • Not adjustable

One of the best whetstones in the world.

Why? Made from very hard abrasive; silicon carbide. Most other stones are aluminum oxide or ceramic, which is great for most blade alloys, but silicon carbide is much harder and therefore better suited to super steels. This G8 stone is still very suitable for simpler alloys and softer heat treated blades. ALSO, and this is important, the pores of metal shavings are easier to clean than my Shapton glass stones. I use natural Nagura stone to clean this stone but you can use a rust remover stone…

Pros
  • Bespoke and ground by Gritomatic
Cons
  • Only available in black
