Waxes are good but iron didn't help. I've tried new batteries making sure they're in tight, it doesn't heat up at all. Luckily I have a soldering iron which I used.

really nice little tool kit, worked great for what i need it for, love the different wax options. I had to contact Dussal for a replacement as the heater stopped working after the first use. They responded very quickly and sent another set within a few days, great service!

Unit is not heating enough to be effective. It can be used for very small repairs. I used it on a chip in a laminate countertop and it worked. But in order to melt the wax, you have to make a lot of effort. It's cheap and I'm not disappointed with the performance based on it.

It does its job, but it leaves a lot to be desired. It's not very strong, takes forever to heat the melted wax so sometimes it gets cold without even being able to apply it to what you're trying to fix, that's normal. There are better versions of this kit on the market, if you are going to deal with it professionally I would not recommend buying this product, you get what you pay for.

Color choice was good. Wax stick melting device is inconvenient to use. You have to hold down the red button to heat the metal tip and melt the wax, which gets a bit painful after a while... When you're done filling the damaged area, you have to go back and level the treated area. After that, remove hot objects, otherwise the repair will melt. I sprayed clear coat over the area to protect it. I wanted it to come with some kind of hardener to protect the wax. Matching colors is a little tricky…
