Worst Stabilizer for Sewing Projects

This stabilizer was a waste of money. It caused my sewing machine to jam several times and did not dissolve easily. It made my arts and crafts project difficult and frustrating.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Difficult to dissolve, causes jams in sewing machine

OK, not great!

I like sulky products in general, this one says it can be used for lace and it can but you have to use two coats. Hard would be better than medium for this, so I wish it was better labeled.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs

To attempt . . To appreciate its value

This is a mid-range Sulky Solvy stabilizer. Ultra is too thick and normal is too thin. This "Sulky Super Solvy" stabilizer is really the best. Much easier to handle and operate. I use it as a top stabilizer when machine embroidering towels, fleece and other thick or fluffy fabrics. This will make your embroidered designs look better and not hide in all those puffy or thick strands of fabric. Any avid fan of machine embroidery should try it to appreciate its value.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks
