No problem using it on my 2020 DRZ400SM

Used on my 2020 DRZ400SM it was great. The standard pressure is 1.1 bar and this one is 1.8 bar but I haven't had any problems with it yet.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Minor problems

Looks good but rubbish

Bought for my 05 crf450r and the lid opened up spewing liquid up to 150 degrees. It's good for checking temperature, but it's not made for high pressure. I threw that away and put the drain cap back on

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • unreliable

Great for spares

On my 2019 KTM 300. It takes a little while to fully seat, it fits snugly over the factory cap to screw fully in. stopping it takes some effort. Works great, doesn't leak, easy to read, good way to make sure you don't overheat.

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • boring packaging

2016 Kawasaki KX250F

just did a 5 hour single track ride yesterday. I've always been curious if my bike would be more route oriented and how it would perform on trails, so I bought it to see if I needed bigger radiators or bigger hoses. it seemed to do the job. It was nice to know when my bike was really starting to heat up. the installation went smoothly with no leaks.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Reliability

The temperature sensor works fine, but the lid is leaking!

I like the temp sensor which was the main reason for purchase but the cap didn't hold the pressure and let the radiator leak coolant once the bike started to get warm. I put the drain cap back on and everything was fine. I tried the cap on two other bikes and they both had the same problem. Luckily the return window was still open (for a day! LOL) when I was able to try the cover on a few bikes to see if that was the problem. Return for refund.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Some minor things

2016 FE 350 fits great

I installed it on a 2016 FE 350S as the radiator fan is finicky and can get hot in the woods. I've since added Engine Ice coolant, enriched the mixture and made some tweaks (remapped to AUS map, fitted an aftermarket fuel rail, exhaust plug and Power Commander V) so it runs cooler now. This lid fits, albeit fairly snugly; You really have to get him to sit up and turn all the way around. It looks cool and it's nice to see the real temperature. As someone else said, I wish it didn't say "MADE INโ€ฆ
