📦 Black Summitlink V3 Case with Dual Fans for Stratux ADS-B Kit, Compatible with AHRS Module and GPYes Review

Raspberry Pi fits perfectly. The antenna cable routings are well thought out. The internal GPYes fits perfectly, including the USB fan connector. Contrary to other reviews that say that Summitlink is not suitable for Stratux UAT, this does not apply to the V3 version of Summitlink.

LONG-TERM USERS. I like that it's bigger than the original case and the second one I tried. I feel like more air can circulate. I have upgraded my SDRs to good ones with these large heatsinks. The problem is that it fits the USB fan. Radiators are too big. I put the fan aside and it still works. At some point I'll stick it on. It is black. Looks very sharp. Significantly sharper than in the white housing. The temperatures are the same or lower than in the old building. Worth every penny.

Everything looks well thought out. Compatible with all current Stratux installation features, including a new slimline USB connector for a second fan, allowing you to continue using the internal GPS with no installation hassle. I built my first Stratux before commercial cases were available (Raspberry Pi cases were available but not all the features of the Stratux itself). I ended up having to upgrade the GPS/AHRS chip, so I figured it would be nice to have fan control and a custom case. Two fans cool the electronics - they work well. This is a good case, it looks like it would be perfect for ADS-B, although it has two problems: the risers that the Pi board sits on, aren't even molded plastic so the board wobbles a bit just sitting there. I had to take a knife and cut it to install the board. The board's power supply and HDMI don't match exactly, I can connect them by scraping off the plastic. The biggest problem are those little Rage fans. I was hoping to put it on the lobby window but they are so damn loud it's impossible.

I like the material this case is made of! In the end I placed the reyax ry836ai (GPS+AHRS) module under the Raspberry Pi board. and screw the antennas over the board. (just because iPads without a cellular module don't have proper built-in GPS and you'll lose your position beyond 1000 feet). love for the material. It doesn't crack, it bends!
