    very important. very bright

    great price. very bright. Good quality. They need very good airflow or a fan or some way to cool the plants/area. This light gets hot as hell. Remember that the lumens increase dramatically the closer you get to the plant, the closer to the plant the hotter this thing gets = need a fan.

    Expensive cheap Chinese junk

    Lasted less than a year when it broke. That left me in a very bad place. I used to build ballasts from kits and never had a single problem. I decided to save time and buy a ready-made device. Huge mistake. I can repair this unit with parts purchased online, but the time and hassle of the return process makes the warranty worthless.

    Quality Product, Quality Seller

    5 stars across the board. It's a magnetic ballast so you know it's reliable, quiet, switchable and runs at 220/110. Also suitable for two different lamp plugs. The first one I received was badly damaged. He was immediately replaced. All I had to do was return the old one within 30 days. Buy with confidence, both the product and the seller can be trusted.

    It will make you buy it over the Hydrofarm 150W HP!

    I compared it to my 150 watt hydro farm, even changed the bulbs. The sun 150w PS pulls noticeably! The amperage is less than that of a hydroelectric power station. Solar system = 1.5A or less after 60 minutes of operation Hydrofarm = 3.8A or MORE after 60 minutes of operation So the solar system takes less to get 150W of light, much less! A hydroelectric power station requires about 300-400 watts to produce 150 watts of light. The ballast consumes the most energy.

    That's good light. However

    Good light. However, the light yellow hue given off by the lightbulb will yellow your room. This isn't great if you have windows (even with mini blinds) as it's quite noticeable from the outside unless you black out the windows. I was hoping this light would give white light like the MH bulbs. It's cool and bright at the same time. I haven't had it long enough to see how well it grows plants. If you're setting her up in a small grow tent, you may only need an exhaust fan and a small air intake…

    Great little light, perfect price.

    Love these lights. Medium spectrum so you don't have to change the bulb to change vegetables/flowers. You will be excited, but everything will be hidden. They cool well with a blue pass-through fan system. You won't get the same results as you would with a split spectrum light system, but it will provide great results no matter what you're growing. Will ideally feed a 3Γ—3 tent system or more depending on how light your plants are. If it worked at 4x4, you fed 12 tomatoes and they thrived…

    So far, so good! Electrical

    This is a replaced and old cooling tube cover which appears to permanently cut between the old cover and the new digital ballast the GFCI duplex it was connected to would. I had low expectations because most of the time these gfci's are not compatible with digital ballasts but. I had 3 running and found the 4th was not working due to a power problem between the lamp socket, ballast and gfci. Whatever the problem, it was solved with this new hood. I suspect it's just the finishing, and the hood…

    Great Light: Ballasts

    I have a 20 x 20 4 season conservatory at home. But if you want flowers to bloom year-round, you need a separate grow room that lets you turn the light on for 12 hours and off for 12 hours, which is what most plants need to bloom. So, I have a 4 x 4 flower box in my heated garage. Unfortunately, it has been exceptionally cold in my area this year and my box did not get a good flower temperature during Sveta with the existing 150 watt HPS that I built myself. on time so I bought this to add more
