Excellent quality and good construction

Building a new house. I need 84 lightbulbs. I bought this 12 pack to see how they compare to the Halo brand at my local flagship store before making a purchase. I am very happy with the quality. It has all the features that the local brand has but at a lower price. I will be buying another 6 of 12 sets next week or two.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Great solution for adding new recessed lighting

Installed these in a newly built covered patio. Installation was easy and electrical connections were simple. The jars come with end caps that match the built-in LED lights. I used screws to attach the cans to the joists instead of the included nails which were problematic (blunt?) and difficult to drive into the finished wooden joists. Great price and will hopefully last for years with no problems.

Pros
  • Good Thing
Cons
  • Security

Great light for a new install

I bought 12 of these can lights. They are easy to install and the manufacturer has installed connectors for the wiring, which allows you to connect the light very quickly. I am very happy with the results. I placed them 2.5 feet from the walls and 5 feet either way on an 8 foot ceiling and the lighting was perfect. There were no shadows on the ground. I would recommend these lamps for new construction. or where you have access to rafters or floor joists in the basement.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Bad set

Excellent price. Difficult to install.

I felt like I was flying in a helicopter trying to hang these things. I always needed at least 1 other hand and 2 extra fingers to hold everything in place. It would be nice if you could fix the span a little more positively before hanging. Maybe a simple clamp mount instead of a self-tapping screw. The nails were too close to the rails to drive them in easily with a frame hammer, which was all I had with me. If you nail one corner and try to make the opposite corner, the whole thing will…

Garbage! Caution spray foam!

74 niches installed on 5,000 square meters The house was filled with foam after the boxes were installed. The cheap wire connectors inside the junction box reacted to the spray foam and each cut-out had to be replaced with new connectors. 24 hour service for $65/hour. I called Sunco, emailed them and they didn't give two sh! #. Just blew me away. I wanted to work with this company but they did nothing to reimburse all the hours I spent digging 74 holes in foam in a $1.5 million house. They…
