Works like a clock to remove the washing machine. GE Maytag. Without that bushing, I would never have removed that nut from the tub. It was deep enough to climb over the bolt. Very happy. Never bother to buy a small wrench to loosen nuts. It will never work. Buy this socket.
A nut needs to be removed that should have been tightened to 450 ft-lbs. (Hell) Of course, due to corrosion and other things, the trigger force was much higher. This thing is so massive I have no idea how much force it takes to break it. I was afraid that my 3ft extension wrench would break, but it didn't, but don't worry about this beauty. Just don't drop your foot.
I used this to remove and tighten the gear nut (part number T440) on a 1969 Triumph 650 and also a 1961 650. Works for all 4-speed Triumph 500/650 up to 1972. Not suitable for 5-speed transmissions. You need to have a hole deep enough to clear the transmission input shaft and this one does just that. The repair manual says "tighten nut as tight as possible". I find that 35 ft/lb in combination with a standard washer (T2116) is sufficient.
