Alloy Left Crank Arms by SUNLITE Review

As you can see in the picture the box says 170mm. The crank is stamped 165 in the box, so it's going back. I'm just glad I checked it out before mounting it on my bike.

Took about a year before the threads on the pedal began to wear out and shear off over time. This was on a bike that is only occasionally ridden around town, so it didn't get unusually intense.

Was the right tool for the job. I have previously ordered a different grip after my stock rounded out due to poor workmanship. This was rounded off immediately and I found it was due to poor workmanship (they cut the conical hole too big). Gave Sunlite a shot by ordering this replacement and it works as it should. Good job sunlight.

My son rode his bike so hard he put a hole in his own crank. And no matter what I did or how tight I tightened, it always loosened up again after just a few minutes. So replaced that assembly and a new bottom bracket and it's been perfect ever since. Nice piece of aluminum and the threads were clean. It looks bare but I painted it black to match my son's bike.

My connecting rod has stripped threads and it takes 45 days to fix. I thought I would try to fix it myself. Ordered to specification but the diamond hole on this arm is too small for an ic4 Schwinn exercise bike. This is a very light grip compared to the factory grip. The "diamond" shape I need has rounded corners. I will come back and try another seller.

It's a bit wider than the right hand crank, but it's light and seems to hold up decently. The fit is snug and it doesn't have the clearance of my old crank which was removed because the crank was too worn and not fitting snugly to the bottom bracket. The cap doesn't fit the screw I bought to replace the old screw. It seems to take time, but we'll see how long it lasts. Will give an update if it breaks quickly.
