I've lost the practice of repairing bike tires and have badly damaged my only inner tubes - during the pandemic and the shortage of bike inner tubes. So I had to order the stuff I usually find at Wal-Mart by mail. They said delivery would take two weeks but it didn't take more than one. I was very happy about it.

Both tubes I ordered had holes right away. I changed a tire tonight and am glad I did because I still have a good inner tube (different brand). I'm not talking about the small round holes in these Sunlite tubes but the long (longer than the pin hole) cut shapes. where the tube is either very old or is being pushed too hard or something. This is ridiculous and the only tubes in my order are non-refundable. Unbelievable. Bell's Bike Shop should pick them up and give me back the hoses I paid for…

This was my second Sunlite hose in a month (the first ruptured due to tire/rim failure, not hose failure). But the second failed, it seems, for no good reason - I got off the bike after 2 days of easy riding and heard this terrible hiss. When I found the hole it was right next to the valve. These hoses have very little reinforcement and the point where the rubber meets and connects to the valve can be slightly stronger. The rim cracked with normal use. I'm not saying it won't work for all…

Ordered 2. One worked fine the other had a pin leak I couldn't find. Fitted with new tires but one didn't hold the air. disassembled. Checked. couldn't find the leak. I put it in a water bath, there are no bubbles. built. still not holding air. Disassembled (this is the last time!). Couldn't find a leak but still couldn't pump more than 20 pounds of air. Okay, I gave up, disassembled one more "last time" and inflated the tube on my workbench. Then it was: ssssss from a pierced hole in the tube.
