Ideal for large child or adult bikes. A bit much for a toddler tricycle, although it depends on what type of tricycle you have. But with a little tape on the handle for a tight fit, it works well. The sound of this bell is normal, nothing special or fun for kids. It does the job, but if you're looking for something fun for a baby or toddler, this might not be the best choice.

Although I bought this as a fun accessory for my new Townie bike it has become a handy tool as I ride the local bike path 4 times a week. Whenever I meet several cyclists riding in a row, I just ring the bike bell and they stop to let me through. The ringer is loud enough to be heard over a lot of background noise and is easy to operate with one finger. This was a great purchase that improves the safety of my cycling.

Plastic bottom. It sounds good. Very musical ring. The sound is higher than the Radio Flyer, but very pleasant. Maybe even a nicer sound. Smaller than the Radio Flyer, but the Radio Flyer is all metal and very durable. Does plastic last for years? I have my doubts but it will last long enough for your kids to grow into new bikes and my 3.5 year old daughter is very happy with it. So based on that I can recommend it.

I bought this silver bell for my daughter's touchboard. She loves the sound he makes. It's more of a trill than a thing-thing. Although it seems "cheap" given that its silver part is made out of flimsy plastic, I can't complain too much since it was so cheap. First, I'm sorry I didn't know it was from China. I think the shipping cost here will be more than what I paid for it. Also, it took several weeks to receive it. Just make sure you know where it's from and the ETA of the product.

I couldn't decide between 2 and 3 stars. This bell is cute and our daughter loves it. But after just a week or two, "I love my bike" is completely gone, so now it's just a red bell with a white center. She was very disappointed.
