old reliable for tubes

I've never had a problem with that. These are bike cameras. I was hesitant to buy other brands because people reported getting old, dry, rotten shoots. Maybe it is, or maybe people are really bad at installing tubes properly. What some people may not know is that the object causing the puncture often has to be removed from the tire, or it may simply deflate the first time you ride it. Anyway, I just wanted to support Sunlite. Great price for a reliable quality pipe. Tip: Buy a patch kit and…

Pros

My bad luck is over!

Regrettably bought a pack of Continental hoses which suffer from terrible quality control (two of my hoses exploded when I first inflated them despite being at least 10-20psi inches below recommended Worth lying. Certainly, these tubes have brought some normality back to my normal daily commute. I drive around town every day and am pretty tough on my tires/tubes. Philadelphia is full of potholes and construction every day and my passenger sees everything.. I drive anywhere from 750 to 1000…

Pros
  • Good product for the price

Sunlite's return policy should be more customer oriented

After trying to return this item I found that it was non-refundable. I've put a lot of hoses on my bikes and to be honest I can't recall a single case where I've had a hose with a bad valve. It has! Having never purchased any product from this company, I cannot say that this is poor workmanship in all directions or a single defect of this particular camera. Unfortunately the price of the inner tube seems to have expired and I need to buy another brand so I can ride my bike. To be honest I'm…

Haven't had a problem yet.

I live in the North West. Anyone who has ridden a bike here before knows the goat's head spikes. These mothers f====r make my life hell. After switching to 10 speed/road tires this is no longer a problem. 100 psi can accurately reflect ALOTTA HOLECRAP. I use standard 50-80psi tires on my bikes. they got apartments WEEKLY. Even green slime will last a month in the tube. So what's 10 speeds, 100 psi + tires like? I got ONE flat tire in 6 months and it was A LOT because I had NOWHERE to bleed the…

The valve stems separated after about 200 miles

These tubes were attractively priced, looked well made and worked perfectly. until both failed because the valve stems broke off the surrounding tubing at the base while riding on a moderately bumpy gravel road. The fact that both broke up within a short period of time makes it more likely that there was a common cause. Over-inflation or over-tightening of the nut at the base of the valve stem can be ruled out: pressure was carefully controlled and only one hose was installed with one nut…

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Almost OK

Nice lightweight camera

I have driven thousands of miles with Sunlite brand cameras. The ones I'm reviewing today are the light ones. I broke one of them recently, but my tire had a puncture that matched the hole in the tube (it's pretty clear to me that the failure was due to dirt and not the tube's fault). Match the camera you buy to the ride you take. The tubes I am reviewing here are light, I ride them on paved roads and bike paths where there is little dirt, in such conditions I rarely have punctures. your needs.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Empty
