Description of 🌞 Sunnytech Mini Solar Panel Module DIY Polysilicon Solar Epoxy Cell Charger B031 - 2W 6V 330mA

SUFFICIENT ENERGY---- High conversion rate, high efficiency output, excellent weak light effect. HIGH QUALITY---- High quality epoxy resin, unique technology to make the components beautiful and strong, anti-wind and snow, increase the service life of solar panels. DIY YOUR OWN SMART MODEL---- Build your own powered models, solar toys, solar lights, solar displays, charging small DC batteries. It can be used for teaching purpose. Many of our customers come from school, colleague, etc. EDUCATION---- Solar panels are devices that absorb sunlight and convert solar radiation directly or indirectly into electricity through photoelectric or photochemical effects, it's perfect devices for science project. CONNECT SOLAR PANELS IN PARALLEL OR IN SERIES---- When the voltage of your solar panel doesn’t satisfy your storage battery, you can take two or more same solar panels together in series. Such as, two 6v solar panel connects together in series, so its voltage is 12V. When the voltage of solar panel satisfies your storage battery. In order to speed up the rate of charge, you can take two or more same solar panel together parallel connection.

Does not tolerate prolonged sun exposure

as stated by 2 other reviewers, cannot be used in sunlight for long periods (surface blistering - in addition to cosmetic issues, power delivery significant) . Still, 2 stars is cheap, fast shipping, and a great piece to test and play with - when sun exposure is limited to short periods only.

Pros
  • High support and durability ratings from testers
Cons
  • Only available in white

a pleasant surprise! in Generators & Portable Power

I have a small model boat. This charger is ideal for charging batteries. At cruising speed, the motor draws around 500mA, so this charger is enough to almost double my range. I had to buy two panels, I would never run out of power. The solar panel is almost ideal for keeping the battery charged, but must be turned off when not in use to avoid overcharging the battery.

Pros
  • GOLS Certificate
Cons
  • Frequency

Not intended for use in direct sunlight!

In fact they are delaminated by the full force of sunlight, then they become saturated with moisture in the new bag. I had months like this before I got them up and running. They looked great on the shelf and in quick tests. However, they began to deteriorate on the first day in direct sunlight. Granted, I'm in South Florida and the sun is really strong here. The sun may not be as bright where you are and around you.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • You could have gone for a newer model

Very good for small personal projects, I wouldn't miss it.

is very suitable for small personal projects. I wouldn't leave it in the sun for too long or too dramatically. It's hot like Florida where I live. Epoxy or whatever on it will start to bubble but if you use it indoors next to a window it will work great or if you don't bother and put it in a slight bald patch that will work too.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • The list will be long.

They work but output tolerances are high

I purchased and tested 2 of these in direct June sunlight during rush hour (in America) and was getting a short circuit current of about 185mA with an open circuit voltage of about 6.9 volts for the first, that's 1.28 watts. The second panel had V = 6.56V and i = 280mA, which is 1.84W. As such, both were quite far from their advertised voltage and current ratings, and both fell short of their advertised 2W output in my testing. They work, but their performance will likely vary slightly from…

Pros
  • Annual test period
Cons
  • Minor issues

I connected two of these in series to power a small audio amplifier. They work well, especially since the amp is quite forgiving. Works on any voltage from 9 to 24 volts. A charge controller is therefore not required. The no-load current is about 300 mA. But all solar cells are sensitive to heat, and as they heat up, the current drops significantly. These panels can power the amp at moderate volume levels in direct sunlight. I connected them to a lithium ion battery with a diode to prevent…

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Speed
