I bought this item after looking at the Vivitar DF-383 for Nikon for the first time. I rated it 4/5 because of some issues. WARNING! It cannot be used off-camera. Beginners looking for a cheap flash look elsewhere. It's TTL only, with no manual or slave modes, and there's no way to disable the pre-flash to trigger optical slaves. Nobody told me about it and I wish I knew.
