Sunpak PF30XN good for photography and photography

I bought this item after looking at the Vivitar DF-383 for Nikon for the first time. The tension on the hot shoe pins is too high to be safe on newer digital gear, so after choosing the Vivitar I stumbled upon the Sunpak PF30XN. Gain experience and come back to get Vivitar or Nikon Speedlight. The little Sunpak is great. Yes it only uses two AA elements and yes it can take 7-8 seconds to fire at full power but for the most part it's like a .45 automatic ready to fire again at any time. I fired over 130 shots. a few eneloops that night, no problem. Parts remaining in my bag There is room for a D3000 in my APECASE and it does the job, I used it for a couple of hours recently photographing a party with a 55-300mm lens - 50ft horizontal shots. The 300mm room turned out to be well lit. I am completely satisfied with this device, 100% satisfied. If he dies with me today, he doesn't owe me anything, and then I choose the SB-600.
