Love this clip. During class I can have students with Arca Swiss and Manfrotto tablets put the camera on my stand. My likely niche need; However, the flexibility is great. It's also a great, fast Arca Swiss release anyway.

It seems tight but there is some kind of lubricant inside which causes the clamp to stick to itself and not open when the handle is turned. I also don't see a way to take it apart to clean it. I hope Sunwayfoto will reply with cleaning ideas.

Bought this clamp to install an ARCA clamp on an existing ball head that was using custom inserts and Sunwayfoto did not disappoint. Fits all existing ARCA records I had and am very happy with. Sleek, well made and excellent value for money.

This product is perfect! I had to convert my Manfrotto ball head to an ARCA head and it worked great! (Includes a Boss adapter for tripod head, socket, plug/spare clamp adapter.) It looks well made and should last a long time. Now I can use the Peak Design strap on the bottom of the camera and easily attach it to my tripod (head). I'm a lucky tourist!

I have two different Manfrotto ball heads that I use for photography. I use one in the studio and the other on the go! I just bought an L mount for a camera body that only works with the Arca Swiss setup and this adapter ticks all the boxes! It was easy to set up, allows for quick setup in the studio and now gives me the ability to center the camera when shooting in the studio. Great product, I can only recommend.

This unique clip links Manfrotto and Arca. But I'm not sure about a few things. First, like the other Sunway clamp I've bought, the threads are an issue. Of the nearly 1/2 inch aluminum thickness, only 1/8 inch remains on the threaded hole. Second, the 3/8 inch thread on this clamp is sloppy. The adapter requires thread locking to stay in place. So I don't think this fits the Manfrotto XPRO ball head - I have a groove and the previous yoke has a groove on the bottom that goes into the groove. But this clip is flat with no ridges so I'm not sure how long it will stay or if it will be strong. Tried it twice, don't see any wobble but I'm worried about the longer run. I bought this ball head adapter from Manfrotto to use with Arca Swiss and Manfrotto inserts. Everything is fine except for the center hole that attaches it to the ball head. It is threaded while Manfrotto is unthreaded. Adapter required (Desmond Boss or similar). The hole is 3/8 and loose with a 3/8 to 1/4 adapter.
