It floats! I also like that it breaks down into 3 parts. Also stays at any adjusted length, the last paddle I had (that sank in the lake!) didn't stay where I set it and it was annoying! I like that he drowned, now I have a quality paddle :)

The paddle was purchased to replace the paddle I received about a year ago when I first received my board. The paddle cost $95. This paddle was three times cheaper and much better quality. I have a feeling it will take much longer than a year. My husband is also planning to order one as the paddle is longer and he is very tall.

I bought 2 paddles to replace the paddles that came with our boards. I can't say enough good things about this paddle! Our previous paddle had a rubber blade that didn't work well in choppy water or on power strokes. We row 3-4 times a week and this hard blade paddle is amazing and the price is perfect if you only need 2. We can swim through choppy water without slowing down. Waves. A piece of cake and smooth water, we just float. In fact, they changed our paddle game.😁

This is the best value for money. My last adjustable aluminum paddle cost over a hundred dollars and it's just as good. Love the fact that it can be broken into 3 pieces when I want to throw it in my inflatable backpack and go camping by the lake. It has a quality locking mechanism for an adjustable length and not a mundane twist-to-tighten design that always breaks. This purchase is a no-brainer for those times when I can't carry around a stationary carbon fiber paddle.
