Google Pixel 3a XL SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Pro Series: Full-Body Rugged Holster Case (White) with Built-in Screen Protector - 2019 Release Review

I love this case. It has the protection of an Otterbox but without the high cost or bulk. I had the same Nexus 6p case so I got it again for my new Pixel 3a xl. The only thing I would ask manufacturers to do is remove that cheap flimsy built in screen protector. I took it out of the case because I already have a screen protector for my phone.

2019: I dropped and lost THREE phones this year. This time I'm doing my best to make sure nothing happens lol. This case is amazing! Doesn't really feel bulky (considering how protective it is). Everything fits perfectly, my charger and headphones fit and there is no problem with the protective glass underneath. Really well designed. Worth the extra money. 2021: Update 2 years later - I haven't replaced this case since and I still love it. My phone is like new!

I LOVE this case. To compare it to the Defender it has one hard plate instead of two, but it has a belt clip and does its job very well. Having already smashed my screen before this case arrived and am awaiting a replacement for this phone with no further damage I was a little rough with it just to decide if I should still buy an OtterBox for my Google 3a xl. I have been using Otterbox for many years now. I just got my new Pixel 3a XL and found that Otterbox has not decided to make a case for this phone. BUT, SUPCASE is! This is a killer case! They've even thought of little things like a padded section in the holster to protect the screen when you deploy it. Not Otterbox! I REALLY BOUGHT THIS BAG RECONDITIONED, MY FRIEND HAS A PHONE FOR ANOTHER. MY BIG PROBLEM: THE BACK CAMERA DOESN'T FIT THE HOLE IN THE CASE SO SELF PHOTOGRAPHS AND VIDEO CALLS ARE NOT POSSIBLE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO REMOVE YOUR PHONE FROM THE CASE. The case is very durable and comfortable to hold. I used to buy this type for my other phones and it always made me feel like I didn't have to worry. I don't usually drop my phones, but when I do they just bounce off. There is a downside, but it can be fixed. The included plastic protective film can be annoying.
