Could not remove probe cover. I wouldn't move no matter how hard I tried. It is difficult to see very little reading. Slow.

These are great, usually store bought, but they are equivalent at a fraction of the price. Use them every day, maybe 8-10 times a day. Good work!

Do you really want to know how cold it is -40°? I took this outside on a cold winter day, the display went blank before it could show me -40 on the LCD. For this reason I am deducting a star. A similar device I own has an auto power off feature that is activated by pressing any button, this has an auto power off feature but you have to press and hold the ON/OFF button to turn it on. the back. I can think of pros and cons for both, so I'm keeping both.

This thermometer looks great - I've only used it once. I can't tell if my flesh is ready or not because it's difficult for me to read and understand what's written there. Very different from my old round Taylor thermometer. I think and hope that I will like it after using and understanding it more times. The directions are not entirely satisfactory
